love loses
Here is a quick thought: Rob Bell is wrong.
I’m not arguing about the hell part. I’m going to argue the love part.
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes...

I love the idea of blogging. I like sharing ideas. I am not a blogger.
When it comes down to it, I realized as much as I would love to broadcast my ideas, it’s not my strength to write blogs. I love sharing ideas, but writing them down is not a passion of mine. It only serves to help me remember them.
I’ve come to realize over the last few months that my strength and passion does not...

how does social media affect the disconnected?
When I first started really exploring social media and blogging as a way to change the world I thought it was and was going to be huge. But then my life changed and I couldn’t be in front of a computer all the time. I couldn’t be connected through a smart phone all the time.
I got disconnected from a world that is growing. And maybe growing in love with itself. I still think it is...

This Image Is Wrong & Shouldn't Be Reblogged
(This is the same as my reblog to the image, but I wanted to copy it make it a post as well.)
At first I thought, “How clever.” And then I thought, “That’s wrong. I can’t think of a verse that says that.” Then I thought, “What a clever lie perpetuated by Satan.”
Without Christ you are NOT nothing. You are something. You are very valuable. You are...

Trying to understand Hosea 10:12
Sunday Chad shared Hosea 10:12 as a verse to pray and live by as a community. I like the verse, but something was unsettled in my heart. I didn’t get what was going on. The verse sounds nice, but I can’t get behind it fully until I understand what is going on. I think it has to do with the belief and intellection strength from Stengthsfinder 2.0.
I couldn’t wait anymore. I had...

Thinking About Feelings
As an INTJ I first think and then I feel (usually). My brain comes first, but over the years I’ve learned that I should consider feelings just as real. My natural instinct is to believe that logic makes more sense than “illogical” feelings and thus is a foundation to be built upon.
But there is a problem. I’ve been watching the Olympics.
